Likisha Cherry

Likisha Cherry is the daughter of Aaron Dixon and Elnora Duhart. She was born and raised in Georgia. After retirement, she chose to remain in Hiram, Georgia. Likisha is the eldest of 10 children. She has three daughters—Kalyncia, Chakala, and Kaitlyn—and one son, Kenton.

Likisha has a variety of special talents that she constantly shares with her family, friends, and community. During her journey as a Citizen-Soldier, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. She went on to further her education, earning multiple graduate-level degrees: a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and a Master of Education with a concentration in Leadership of Educational Organizations.

Likisha served over 14 years in the Army and Georgia Army National Guard. While serving her country, she received numerous awards, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and many more. She also has over 25 years of experience in human resources, planning, and customer service.

Likisha uses her expertise to give back to her community as the Third Vice Commander for AMVETS Post 911, youth advisor, college care ministry leader, secretary, substitute teacher, human resources manager, and owner of Shintia’s Services & Boutique, LLC. Her passion is serving others spiritually, mentally, and physically. It is her pleasure to empower others and build them up in both faith and strength.

In her spare time, Likisha enjoys bonding with family and friends, shopping, and traveling.
